FoldPin has no account, no analytics and no advertising. Your guides, names and notes are stored on your device. The app does not upload them to us. Device backups may include them, and a PDF you choose to export goes wherever you send it.

What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone: guide names and notes, spine lengths, the unit you were last working in, the layout you chose and its settings, and every hole position.
That storage is part of the app, so a device backup can include it, and deleting the app removes the copy it stored on that device. We have no copy and no way to reach it.
Exporting a PDF
FoldPin can produce a PDF of a guide at actual scale. This only happens when you ask for it.
The PDF is handed to the standard iPhone share sheet, and you choose what happens next: save it to Files, print it, email it, or send it to someone. From that point it is wherever you sent it, handled under the terms of whatever service or app you chose. Nothing is sent automatically, nothing is sent in the background, and none of it comes to us.
Network use
Creating a guide, saving it and exporting a PDF work with no connection at all. The app contains no analytics and no server of ours for your data to go to.
One thing can use the network, and only when you ask for it: sending a PDF through the share sheet uses whichever app or service you pick there.
This website
These pages are static files. There is no JavaScript, no cookie, no analytics, no tracking pixel, no embedded font and no third-party request. The only external link anywhere on the site is to Apple's refund page, on the support page, and it is a link that loads nothing until you follow it.
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard web server request data such as your IP address in order to deliver the page and keep the service running. We do not use it to build any profile of you, and we run no analytics on it.
If you write to support@codedrealities.com we have your message and your email address, because that is how email works. We use support emails to respond to requests. Contact us about access or deletion of support correspondence.
Email and this website are separate from the app. The statements above about the app collecting nothing describe the app itself; they do not describe a message you choose to send us or a page you choose to load.
Children
FoldPin is a tool for someone making a book by hand. It collects nothing from anybody, of any age.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the data it stored on that device. Two things are not covered by that: a PDF you already exported stays wherever you sent it, and an existing device backup may still contain your guides until that backup is replaced or removed.

Changes
If a future version of the app changes what it stores or where it goes, this page changes with it and the date below changes too. The App Store privacy information for the app is kept in step with this page.
